Cottage Les Hortensias – Holidays in the countryside
This charming cottage for 4 to 7 people, includes:
- Dining/sitting room (25 sq.m) with a fireplace and fully equipped kitchen : dish washer, fridge with a deep freeze, coocker with an electric oven, micro wave oven, toaster, electric coffee machine, electric boiler, washing machine,TV, radio, CD/DVD.
- One bedroom at the first floor (15 sq.m) with a double bed (160 cm width and 190 cm long), and a wooden bed (120 cm width), ensuite bathroom with a large shower and toilets
- At the second floor, two bedrooms : one with twin beds that can be set together (80 cm width and 200 cm long or 160 cm width and 200 cm long when ste together), a baby bed and an ensuite bathroom with large shower and toilets; the other one with a double bed (160 cm width and 200 cm long) and toilets
- The terrace faces the garden and is equipped with table and chairs. BBQ at your disposal.
- Sheltered car park with charging station for electric cars.

Comfortable cottage in Normandy
It’s so quiet and peaceful to relax and appreciate serenity. For a carefree holiday, all charges are included in the price, heating, water, electricity, wood for the fireplace. Bed linen and towels are also included, the beds are ready for your arrival.
The story of the house
The house has been in the family for more than 7 generations. My grandparents spent their retirement there, with five cows, chickens, geese, rabbits, a large vegetable garden. After their death, I had the opportunity to purchase the property in 1998. The house, which had only one cold water point, no sanitary facilities or central heating, was completely transformed. The living area of the house has been furnished with a large living room/kitchen, a bedroom at the 1st floor called «Armandine’s bedroom» in memory of my grandmother and two bedrooms on the 2nd floor, it is the Cottage «Les Hortensias» that was opened in July 2011. Renovated again in 2021, to install a floor heating at the ground floor and central heating powered by geothermal heat, and a new kitchen area.
